Travel restrictions due to COVID-19 are likely
to remain in place throughout the upcoming winter season. Safety has always been
an absolute priority in the Bad Kleinkirchheim region to ensure the health and
wellbeing of our guests and employees. See here the most important information
about the winter 2020/21:
By participating in the
government initiative “Safe Hospitality” ('Sichere Gastfreundschaft'), we have
committed ourselves to strictly adhering to safety and hygiene regulations:
observance of minimum distance rule, avoidance of handshakes, constant cleaning
and disinfection, regular COVID-19 testing of our employees, etc.. The reception
staff will be happy to answer all questions about our protective measures and
recommend 'Gastfreund', our digital guest information.
Before entering the restaurant, please disinfect your hands, wear a mouth-nose cover and maintain the minimum distance to other hotel guests. If you prefer, breakfast and/or salad are served to your table. We are more than happy to refill your room’s minibar (extra charge).
Indoor pool and wellness area are open. We kindly ask you to abide to the minimum distance rule, use the hand disinfection dispensers and enjoy sauna, steam bath and Physiotherm cabin only with people from the same household. The gym can be used individually or by family members at a time. Child care in the Kids World is organized in small groups, family programs require advance registration and joint activities such as torchlight walks, take place outdoors. You are welcome to enjoy soothing massage treatments – here again, our staff are required to wear a nose-mouth cover.
We ask you to protect yourself and fellow guests by acting self-responsibly: minimum distance (baby elephant), mouse-nose cover in all public indoor areas and in the restaurant (except when sitting at the table), hand disinfection before entering the buffet area, proper sneezing and coughing etiquette, regular hand washing and disinfecting. Do not travel if you have any symptoms of sickness!
The Brechlstub‘n, our evening and après-ski hut‚ is closed this winter. Instead, a Covid testing station directly at our hotel will be open daily for the testing of guests and employees.
Upon arrival, adults receive a Bad Kleinkirchheim souvenir, a 'Sunshine' multifunctional cloth which can be used as mouth-nose cover.

In case of further travel restrictions (travel warning security level 6/closing of borders/government imposed quarantine), we offer the option to cancel or postpone stays to a later date free of charge, or get a money refund. Currently, Austria has issued travel warnings for more than 30 countries. Please check your home country’s travel warnings in addition to Austrian regulations and whether you have to present a negative COVID-19 test upon entering. Learn more here.
If you need a COVID-19 test for your trip home, we will be happy to arrange an appointment for you with a regional physician (test results will be available within 1 - 2 days, at cost price).
Cancellation is free of charge until 1 week prior to arrival for reservations made until 30 January 2021 and from 27 February until 5 April 2021. Cancellation is free of charge until 14 days prior to arrival for reservations made from 30 January until 27 February 2020. In case of any inevitable cancellations made under this modified terms, your deposit will be refunded as a voucher for your next stay. We hope you’ll understand that in this case a refund of the advance payment is not possible.
We recommend that you take out
travel cancellation insurance with the Europäische
Reiseversicherung to benefit from insurance coverage also in case of

The insurance sum for direct bookings for 7 nights or more in the winter season 2020/21 is credited to your hotel bill.
In general, the Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry apply:
• three months before arrival: free of charge
• three months until one month before arrival: 40 per cent of the total rate
• one month until one week before arrival: 70 of the total rate
• Within the last week before arrival: 90 per cent of the total rate
