Our guests treasure and appreciate the unadulterated landscape of the UNESCO Nockberge Biosphere Park, the tasty regional products, and the fresh potable Kirchheim water. Guests are spoilt for choice with delicious and vital dishes prepared with produce sourced from own farming or local suppliers. Our efforts were even distinguished with the AMA Gastro quality seal!
As part of our commitment, we invested in a hydroelectric power station enabling us to partly generate our own energy. We heat with regional timber (district heating) and possess our own water spring. Wherever possible, energy-saving devices such as lamps, technical appliances or shower heads are used throughout the hotel. The outstanding living comfort of our rooms and suites is achieved with recycable materials, high-quality fabrics to be enjoyed with a good conscience.
If you want to avoid cleaning your room during your holiday for the sake of the environment, please let the reception know. As a thank you for each day without service, we donate a tree to the farmers in the region to support the reforestation after the past wind damage.
