Cancellation conditions
During the winter season 2025/26, cancellation is free of charge up to 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance with the Europäische Reiseversicherung. The insurance can be taken out with the hotel booking.
In general, the Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry apply:

- three months until one month before arrival: 40% of the total rate
- one month until one week before arrival: 70% of the total rate
- within the last week before arrival: 90% of the total rate

Kärntnerhof is a family-friendly non-smoking hotel (accord. non-smoking regulations as of 1/1/2009). Ashtrays are available on the balconies and in front of the hotel.

At the Kärntnerhof, we are committed to preserving our unique natural environment and quality of life. Environmentally conscious management, regional employees and ongoing training and further education are central components of our mission statement. Our guests enjoy the natural surroundings of the UNESCO Nockberge Biosphere Park, regional products, our own spring water and cuisine from our own farm and local farmers – awarded the AMA Gastrosiegel seal of approval.
Part of our electricity comes from our own hydroelectric power station, we heat with regional wood, and we use energy-saving systems and recyclable materials. Guests who opt out of room cleaning actively support environmental protection: for every day without service, we donate a tree for reforestation in the region.
The Nockmobil will take you from your starting point to your desired holiday destination. In addition, the Carinthian bus lines, the station shuttle and the bike shuttle are at your disposal. The surrounding mountain peaks can be easily reached with the Bad Kleinkirchheimer Bergbahnen. E-bike rental stations can also be found nearby.
We have installed two electric car charging points in the hotel car park. If you want to charge your car, please ask at the reception for a chip, which saves the amount of energy during charging. Cost: € 0.50/kWh
